Successful Kickoff Event

Rise AAPI had our Kickoff Event on the evening of Thursday, July 21, 2022. This gathering served as an opportunity to start working towards uniting, organizing, and supporting the AAPI community in Texas.

Rise AAPI is a 501(c)(4) organization launched to maximize AAPI political power in Texas. For centuries, AAPIs have been otherized, invisibilized, and victimized for being “different.” With Rise AAPI, we are showing our nation that there is power in our differences, and we are just as American as everybody else.

We want to take a moment to thank a few people. We are especially grateful for our Platinum Sponsor Anne Chao. A big thanks goes out to our Gold Sponsors Mustafa and Selma Tameez. We greatly appreciate Salma and Riaz Siddiqi for hosting it at their home. We couldn’t have done this without the hard work of our Host Committee.
